Happiness is a broad term that describes the experience of positive emotions, such as joy, contentment and satisfaction. Emerging research shows that being happier doesn’t just cause you to feel better — it actually brings a number of potential health benefits.
Being happy promotes a huge number of lifestyle habits that are important for overall health. Happy people tend to eat healthier diets, with higher intakes of fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Being happy may help promote a healthy lifestyle. Studies show that happier people are more likely to eat healthier diets and got engaged in physical activity.

Happier students were nearly twice as likely to have a high antibody response, a sign of a strong immune system therefore, we can say that we can increase the immune system of the body by just being happy along with the normal medication.

Happy people tend to supply lower levels of cortisol in response to stressful situations. It appears that happiness can also help protect people that have already got heart condition.

For starters, being happy promotes a healthy lifestyle. It may also help combat stress, boost your system , protect your heart and reduce pain. While further research is required to understand how these effects work, there’s no reason you can’t start prioritizing your happiness now.
Focusing on the items that cause you to happy won't only improve your life — it's going to help extend it too.
