We are a social being. So we have to interact with each other. Keeping social distance from other people is unfamiliar activities for most of us. It is very much unnatural. But duo to this corona pandemic, we are bound to make the distance from other people.
In our normal daily life, we have a lot of activities. We work together. We go to hang out, Educational institutions, Offices and other workplaces, visit other people and relatives house, going to test new foods in restaurants etc. But reducing the effect of the corona virus, we are bound to stay at home. We should make social distance.
Now, the question what is social distance?
According to The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC), Social distancing, also called “physical distancing,” means keeping space between yourself and other people outside of your home.
For practising social or physical distancing we should maintain
1) Stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people.
2) Do not gather in groups.
3) Stay out of crowded places and avoid mass gatherings [www.cdc.gov]
According to [www.hopkinsmedicine.org], Social distancing is deliberately increasing the physical space between people to avoid spreading illness.
So, We can say making a distance from other people and avoiding social gathering is called social distance.has some negative and positive aspect. Here are some Negative aspect of social distance.
There make a lot of changes in people, their friends, family and community will be experienced after the pandemic. Because people now going to be adjusted into home. They have a lot of time. They spend their time in different activities. They spend most of time in their social media. But in social they most of are engaged with some of the people. So, there have less interaction to more people. It's impact to their relation.
For adults, they suffer more. They are normally along. But in a normal situation, they can walk near home. They visit their relatives and so on. For this condition, they are very much prone to be affected. So, they are highly restricted. Then they are starting feeling lonely. They start thinking more and more on COVID-19. It make them tensed and it is injurious to health.
When you can not interact with others, It will make a lot of impact on you. You can not go to school, work station, shopping etc it makes you boring. It produces sadness, frustration, or anger. Because we are getting happy if we share our problem with others.
Now move on to positive sides of social distance. There are some positive site also. The major part of positive site is reduce coronavirus affection. Making social distance doesn't mean that you stop all activities. But it means to avoid public place and avoid physical interaction with people.
Maintain strict social distance Govt. stop unnecessary outgoing. So, you have to stay at home. When you have a lot of time, you can not give proper time to your family. but now you have a lot of time to spend with your family. Use this opportunity without using your time in social media.
Normally students can not have time to improve their efficiency. It is high time to make themselves efficient in a particular thing. Earning some skills will help him in the near future job market.Use your valuable time for earning something without wasting in unproductive activities.
