Where is it located and why should you visit Andaman Islands
The Andaman Islands are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. It is a Union territory of India comprising 527 islands of which 37 are inhabited. Port Blair is the capital and the largest city there and the main attraction of the tourists. You can easily avail the 2 hours flight in reasonable price and enjoy the beauty of the islands.
Passports aren’t required as such ,any Valid ID can work which would be mainly required to board flight and hotel check in. Currency is Indian Rupees (INR) and the cheapest destination is Havelock islands. Speaking of the climate, Andaman Islands experience tropical climate all throughout the year with an average temperature of 23°C which can extend to 32°C. It’s best to carry umbrellas and sunglasses due to the hot and humid weather.
Ideally 5 days is sufficient for a Holiday and the best place to book your hotel which would be Port Blair and few days in Havelock from where you could visit Radhanagar Beach.
Things to do bucket list :
Visit Cellular Jail and witness the light and Sound show which takes place in the evening after 6 pm ; an enthralling experience about the British history and how Cellular Jail was formed.
Visit Ross Islands which itself is a combination of few islands and amazing activities like Surfing ,Cruise ride to have a look at the coral reefs.
Take a relaxing tour to the Radhanagar beach and many other beaches where you can dive into the sea of happiness.
Get a chance to meet the tribe Jarawas and click pictures with them.
And the list goes on……
Andaman is the heaven of blues of India and a must visit once in a lifetime.
